Sales Executive – Residential Building Materials

We are hiring an experienced Sales Executive to support sales of residential building materials—including doors, roofing, flooring, lumber, paint, and related products—focused exclusively on the United States market. This is a 100% remote position and is open to both U.S.-based and international candidates. However, direct, hands-on experience selling into the U.S. residential building materials market is a strict requirement. Location is flexible; U.S. market experience is not. You will gain direct access to U.S.-based inventory of ultra price-competitive residential building materials. Your role is to identify, contact, and activate the correct U.S. sales channels to present and move available inventory.

Compensation will be determined based on a combination of:

  • Current working location

  • Depth of relevant experience

  • Proven U.S. market transaction history and track record

This is a performance-driven role with upside tied directly to results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell residential building materials into U.S. sales channels, regardless of your physical location

  • Identify and engage U.S.-based buyers, distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, and secondary-market players

  • Determine which channels are best suited for specific products, pricing levels, and volume requirements

  • Present product offerings clearly and professionally to potential U.S. sales partners

  • Independently manage outreach, follow-ups, and deal progression

  • Maintain records of outreach activity and completed transactions

Performance Evaluation Criteria

Candidates will be evaluated across four core dimensions:

  1. U.S. Building Materials Channel Expertise (Mandatory)

  2. Demonstrated understanding of:

    • U.S. distribution channels for residential building materials

    • Major and secondary buyers in the U.S. market

    • How those buyers are typically contacted and engaged

  3. Product & Category Knowledge

  4. Strong understanding of residential building materials and how different products are sold in the U.S.

  5. Transaction History & References

  6. Verifiable record of completed U.S. market transactions

  7. Sales Execution & Remote Work Discipline

  8. Communication, presentation, interpersonal effectiveness, and ability to succeed in a fully remote environment

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in residential building materials sales (doors, roofing, flooring, lumber, paint, or similar products)

  • Direct experience selling into the U.S. residential building materials market (required)

  • International sales experience is welcome but does not replace U.S. market experience

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Where to distribute inventory in the U.S.

    • Who to contact at different volume and pricing levels

    • Which sales channels are suitable for specific product categories

  • Ability to clearly explain channel strategy by product type and quantity

  • Proven transaction history with completed deals

Personal & Professional Skills

  • Native-level verbal and written Business English

  • Ability to work during U.S. business hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and building relationships with U.S.-based partners

  • Highly self-directed and accountable in a remote work environment
