This Terms and Conditions document ("Agreement") applies to the purchase, delivery, installation, use, or relocation of any product provided by Reframe Space. By submitting payment, placing an order, or accepting delivery, the customer ("Buyer" or "Participant") confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all sections below, including the Sales Waiver and Liability Release, Warranty Policy, Return and Exchange Policy, and other governing terms.

1. Sales Waiver and Liability Release

1.1 Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability

1.1.1 Assumption of Risk

The Participant understands that the use, handling, installation, assembly, disassembly, or relocation of modular pod structures involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:


  • Personal injury

  • Property damage

  • Equipment malfunction or structural failure


This applies whether installation is performed by the Buyer, a third party, or an installer coordinated by Reframe Space

1.1.2 Waiver and Release

The Buyer voluntarily assumes all associated risks and hereby releases and discharges Reframe Space, its affiliates, employees, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from:


  • The use or misuse of the product

  • Handling, transportation, or installation

  • Relocation or structural modification

1.2 Installation Disclaimer and Third-Party Installer Policy

1.2.1 Third-Party Installers

Reframe Space does not directly provide installation services. However, to support our customers, we may recommend or coordinate third-party installers upon request.

1.1.2 Waiver and Release

  • Customers are free to hire their own installers at their discretion.


  • If the customer requests assistance, Reframe Space may help locate a third-party installer.


  • The customer may pay Reframe Space directly for installation, or pay the installer separately, depending on arrangement.


  • In cases where payment is made to Reframe Space, the company is acting solely as a facilitator, passing payment through to the installer.

1.1.2 Waiver and Release

By choosing to involve Reframe Space in the installation coordination process—whether by paying the company directly or using a recommended provider—the Buyer understands and agrees that:

  • The installer is an independent third party, not affiliated with or employed by Reframe Space.

  • Reframe Space is not responsible for any damage, defects, injury, or delays caused by the installer.

  • The customer agrees to hold Reframe Space harmless from any claims, disputes, or losses related to installation.

  • Reframe Space is acting on behalf of the customer, and the customer accepts full responsibility for any risks associated with third-party installation services.

1.3 Customer-Performed Installation and Relocation

Customers who choose to perform installation or move the product on their own do so at their own risk.

By proceeding with self-installation or relocation, the customer:


  • Assumes full responsibility for any damage, personal injury, or operational issues that may result


  • Agrees that Reframe Space will not be held liable for any consequences resulting from improper handling or installation


  • Acknowledges that damage caused during self-assembly or movement may void the product warranty

1.4 Compliance Acknowledgment

The Buyer acknowledges that products provided by Reframe Space are modular furnishings or architectural accessories and may be subject to local or regional regulations, including but not limited to:


  • Fire safety codes (e.g., flame spread, sprinkler access)


  • Electrical codes


  • Building codes (e.g., seismic anchoring, egress)


  • Accessibility requirements (e.g., ADA compliance)


  • Permit or inspection requirements by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

1.5 Buyer’s Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees and understands that:


  • It is the Buyer’s responsibility to research and comply with all local regulations, codes, and permit requirements


  • Reframe Space makes no guarantees that its products meet all jurisdictional requirements as delivered


  • Modifications required by the AHJ are the Buyer’s responsibility and expense


  • Reframe Space is not responsible for the installation, anchoring, fire suppression integration, or electrical hook-up of its products

1.6 Waiver and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law:


  • The Buyer waives any and all claims against Reframe Space for issues related to fire, electrical, building code, or seismic compliance once the product has shipped


  • The Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reframe Space, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from:


    • Code violations

    • Improper installation

    • Unauthorized modification

    • Use of the product in a manner not compliant with local regulations

1.7 No Modification Assurance

Any unauthorized modifications, alterations, or misuse of products from Reframe Space will void all warranties and liability protections.

1.8 Acceptance

By signing below, submitting payment, or proceeding with the use or installation of products from Reframe Space, the Buyer confirms:


  • Full understanding and acceptance of this Sales Waiver and Liability Agreement

  • Agreement to all terms related to third-party installation, code compliance, and responsibility for use

  • That Reframe Space is not liable for damages or injuries resulting from misuse, improper installation, or relocation

2. Warranty, Return & Exchange Policy

2.1 Limited Warranty Coverage

Reframe Space offers a 5-Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery on specific components of your office sound pod. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, including:

Covered Components:

  • Electrical parts: Fans, LED lighting, power modules, outlets

  • Mechanical hardware: Hinges, handles, door closers, ventilation grilles

  • Structural components: Covered when issues arise under normal use and without signs of external impact, modification, or mishandling


If a covered part fails during this period, Reframe Space will ship a replacement component free of charge.

2.2 30-Day Defective Part Guarantee

For any part found to be defective within the first 30 days of delivery, Reframe Space will:


  • Cover 100% of replacement part and shipping costs

  • Provide clear installation instructions or remote support

  • Expedite shipping to minimize disruption

2.3 Warranty Eligibility Requirements

This warranty will be void if the product is subjected to misuse, mishandling, or conditions outside of its intended use, including but not limited to:


  • Non-Reframe Space branded hardware or software


  • Third-party equipment or furniture added to the pod


  • Damage from misuse, improper assembly/disassembly, or unauthorized repairs


  • Environmental damage (e.g., fire, flooding, outdoor exposure)


  • Wear and tear (e.g., fabric fading, scratches, cushion softness)


  • Electrical faults caused by non-certified personnel


  • Use of improper cleaning products or methods


  • Modifications made to any component


  • Natural inconsistencies (e.g., wood grain patterns, glass bubbles)


  • Pre-owned or rented units


  • Damage during transport by non-approved carriers


  • Force majeure events (e.g., earthquakes, storms, war, etc.)


  • Use of pod components beyond their intended capacity or load limits

2.5 Your Responsibilities

To receive warranty service, the customer must:


  • Provide valid proof of purchase

  • Follow service and diagnostic instructions provided by Reframe Space

  • Complete any final assembly or part reattachment if required

2.6 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy

Reframe Space offers a 30-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery for items confirmed to be defective or damaged.


Eligibility Requirements:


  • Product must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags intact

  • A valid proof of purchase must be provided

  • Photo or video evidence of the issue is required for review


Resolution Steps:

First Response: We will attempt to resolve the issue by sending replacement parts

If Unresolved: A full exchange or refund will be offered

Shipping: For valid claims, all shipping costs (return & replacement) will be covered by Reframe Space


Note: Returns due to buyer’s remorse are not eligible for refund.

2.7 Non-Defective Returns

Returns not related to defects or damage will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:

  • A 15% restocking fee applies

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs

2.8 How to Request a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange:

  • Once approved, we will provide:

    • A prepaid return shipping document (if applicable)

    • Step-by-step return instructions


Note: Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Always contact us before returning any item.

2.9 Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact Reframe Space immediately at 📧 richard.huang@reframespace.com if:


  • You receive the wrong item

  • The item arrives damaged

  • You identify a defect


Our team will quickly assess the issue and provide a prompt resolution.

2.10 Our Commitment

3. Privacy Policy

Reframe Space values your privacy. We collect personal information only as necessary to process orders, manage support requests, provide warranty service, and enhance your customer experience.


We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with logistics partners, installation providers, or payment processors solely for the purpose of fulfilling customer orders.

3. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.


Any legal action or proceeding arising under this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate courts located in California.

5. Acceptance of Terms

By making a purchase, submitting payment, or taking delivery of Reframe Space products, the Buyer agrees to all sections of this Terms and Conditions document, including the Sales Waiver and Liability Release, Warranty Policy, Return and Exchange Policy, Privacy Policy, and Governing Law clause.
